About Jerry Horne

Jerry Horne is widely recognized as a subject matter expert in both supply-chain software and supply-chain mobility solutions that interact, interface, and improve ERP and WMS capabilities (Infor, SAP, Oracle EBS, Oracle JDE, Manhattan Associates, and others).

His success is highlighted by his collaboration with C-level executives to develop and enhance supply-chain software strategies, to architect and embrace emerging technologies, and to transform operational practices that improve and strengthen efficiencies.

Jerry Horne has authored and prepared hundreds of executive briefings and presentations; and, he has been a featured presenter at national industry events, including Pack Expo.

During his 25+ year career, Jerry Horne has held senior sales management, business development, and marketing roles at industry-leading software and technology companies. Currently, he is a senior account manager at Infor where he is responsible for managing distribution and logistics accounts in the Midwest.

Jerry Horne has provided supply chain software and technology solutions to a variety of vertical industries, including CPG, retail, healthcare, pharmaceutical, public sector, utilities, industrial manufacturing, and wholesale distribution. He has worked to improve and to strengthen supply chain initiatives at global accounts like Proctor & Gamble, Unilever, Abbott Labs, Kraft Foods, Johnson & Johnson, E&J Gallo, Ghirardelli Chocolate, Starbucks, Sprint, and many others.

Jerry Horne was engaged with Fortune 500 companies in nearly all metro markets in the contiguous 48-states; and, he was responsible for opening and developing international EMEA territories for six years.

Background

Jerry Horne holds Masters and Bachelor Degrees in Communications; and, he has been honored as Salesman of the Year multiple times.

He has been married for nearly 40 years; and he enjoys spending time with his grandchildren.  Jerry Horne is centrally located to view and observe the world from his home in the Kansas City metro area where he and his wife share their home with a dog and a rescued cat.

When not gardening, Jerry volunteers with several non-profit groups to develop social media programs. He also is an avid writer, aspiring novelist, and member of the Summit Scribes writing group.  He’s an average golfer, and an above average single-malt Scotch enthusiast.
